Builders, flash photography

Still slow. Builders in the house for weeks, dust everywhere, the pong of fresh plaster and early morning visits from the boom-voiced site manager asking me difficult questions when I'm still in my pajamas and reeling from my last dream are not helping me get much writing done. Also, an interest in off-camera flash techniques as outlined on the excellent website www.strobist.com is distracting me. I am planning a photography exhibition to go along with the writing of this novel, so it is relevant. Sort of.
